Hi Pat
Thanks for the names of the other books.....as usual I was last in the queue
for the books, and only managed to purchase the one that I have.......that's
why I've been having to purchase from the books on line.....

Just a note on Alexander Cordell and his Trilogy, Rape of the Fair
Country, The Hosts of Rebecca, and Song of the Earth ( I still have a well
worn paper-back copy of that). My late brother Jack worked with A. Cordell
in Haverfordwest, they were both Quantity Surveyors working for the Civil
Service doing the same job as my brother had done during his many years of
service with the RE's. Jack shared with me the profoundest regard for
Cordell's ability to describe events. Any Lister who wants to get a 'feel'
for how things were in Wales during those turbulent years can do no better
than to read his books. Pat. Perth.
