Hi Su
In a Story of Carmarthen, public houses are listed, from the beginning to
the present day - these are the ones listed in The Quay
Hope and Anchor - later called the Jubilee; Ship Aground; Sloop; Jolly Tar
-
now the Boat Club, Waterloo - adjacent to Waterlood Steps; Three Mariners.
I am unsure what public houses are recorded in CRO.....I know that in the
index card section, there are not many listed. If they were a public house
owned by Buckley's, there are records in CRO.....it's a matter of looking
through the information.
Carmathen being so large, and not indexed it's a matter of going through
the
census to locate them in earlier or later census.....
regards Pauline
