Hi Anna
I lost my Daniel Davies in St Peters after 1851 when he was a widower with 3
young children, searched in vain in 1861 but cannot find him......he too
married a Dinah Davies in 1826, she died in 1849 (after giving birth for 23
years - think I would have given up too ...) but they were from Conwil
Elved.........their son Thomas Davies born 1826 married a Hannah Jones
daughter of David Jones.......I have not been able to go back any further
with the Jones family.......I have her baptism in Llanpumpsaint to a David
Jones and Mary in 1826 but that is as far as I have gone......even with all
my indexes, I cannot say for certain 'That is them'.........but I do have
them recorded upto my own family tree....
Its just a matter of searching and searching.......hoping that one clue can
open up a whole new era.....
regards Pauline

Hi Pauline
I'm not even sure that this family in St Peters are mine. The problem was
that all the other families with a Mary had fathers who were born in St
Peters.
I suppose there's also the possibility that Mary was born in St Peters
because that's where her mother came from: in which case she could have
been
elsewhere in 1881! The alternative is that one of the daughters married
into yet
another Davies family: the mind boggles!
Regards Anna
