Bryan, You are so right about the naming system of the Welsh. There
is also a Welsh Patronymics DNA Project being done. Webpage at:
http://small-stuff.com/WELSH/ You may have to keep trying as they
may be busy or updating the webpage.
If you get your DNA done at FTDNA you can have it in several different
projects. You can also go to a webpage of an ongoing project and
check your DNA against what they have on their participants. I have
done that, also I found a 25/25 match with a Morgan participant. But
so far they have set their matches to Private. (So now I have to
contact the Morgan Proj. Adm. ) And if you set your
matches/or your personel FTDNA/ page to Public. You receive matches
with all surnames not just the EVANS/or other project that your in.
