Hello again Pauline,
I don't have a lot of information on Isaac Evans, but I assumed that he was
still alive when my 2X GGF Thomas ISAAC was married in 1844 as he wasn't
listed a deceased. As stated in my first posting, he died in 1848 and the
MI is listed in the CGN Moyddin Hundred Parish Registers. Next to the date
of death is listed: Llanybyther, CMN. That's what prompted the lookup
request.
What I do know is that he married Jane LLOYD, daughter of John LLOYD and
Anne of Brynllfrith. That marriage would have been prior to 1804 I believe.
There was a first son Thomas ISAAC who died after only a few months. Then
there were some others before my 2X GGF (the 2nd Thomas), who supposedly was
born in 1808.
I have found two MI's for Jane, one as Jane EVANS d) 1824 in Llanwenog, and
another under Jane ISAAC d) 1826 in Llanwenog. I don't know for sure which
one was her, but I'd bet on the Jane EVANS since Isaac was going by EVANS.
And yes, Isaac was a Mason as was his son Thomas.
I am also assuming that Isaac was probably living along as his wife had
already died and all his children would have been grown.
If you want more exact information, I can send that when I get home from
work this evening. I don't have access to my Family Tree Maker from work,
only my email.
I appreciate the time you've taken to check this census for me. I've been
stuck at Isaac EVANS for 3 years now.
