Hi Pauline,
I appreciate your reponse to my inquiry of March 29. Is there no index
of the 1841 Census for CMN which would enumerate the DAVIES family
of which Margaret would have been a daughter of about 7-10 years?
The party who sent me the Marriage Certificate which identifies Margaret's
father as John claimed that there were no other person's in all of
Wales named DAVIS or DAVIES that were married in the most likely time
frame, about 1858 and in the most likely location, Merthyr Tydfil.
Perhaps the DAVIES family left Carmarthenshire before 1841 and can
be found emunerated in Glamorganshire. Thank you very much for your
effort on my behalf.

Hi Wayne
If Margaret's father is given as John Davies on her marriage certificate,
doubt if the baptism of a Margaret Davies to Owen and Anne Davies in 1833 is
the one you require.....
These are very popular names, and non-conformist chapels were very active at
this time, perhaps Margaret was baptised in one of the many Chapels and not
in the parish church.....
I cannot find any other children in the baptism records of Owen and Ann/e
Davies....
I have not indexed Cenarth for 1851 as yet.....
Pauline
