Hi Valerie
If you want a copy of the certificate, just send an email to Carmarthen
record office requesting if you can purchase the certificate and how much
(normally £1 photocopy and £1.50 p&p)......you can then send a cheque and
they will send you the certificate.....Remember though on marriages pre 1837
there are no occupation, abode or fathers name mentioned.....the only time
an occupation is given is if the Vicar thought of adding it.....
Glad you are enjoying the messages.....
Yes, rugby today, all three matches!! Richard was going to go to the
Cricket Club to watch them, but decided against it......tooooooooooo long a
day!! He will probably go after the Welsh match.....IF they win!!
speak soon Pauline

Hallo Pauline
I have been reading all the messages, and the one about Jones took my eye.
I have just discovered a marriage of Evan Williams to Hannah Jones of
Llanllwni.
Thanks to your lists.
Will Carmarthenshire have the registers, or do I write to Aberystwyth
for
a copy please.
This Evan Williams (I hope) is the one that was landlord of the Kings
Head
Llandysul, but I am unsure how it can be proved as less and less info is
given on the marriage records.
This could explain why a John Jones was present at the death of
Hannah
Williams.
Thank you for all the work you have done, and are doing, I will
continue
wading through the rest.
Good luck to both sides tomorrow, I am also a follower.
Valerie
By the way the marriage date is 24/2/1808
