Hi Pauline
I don't have access to FHS Glamorgan 1861, 51 or 1841 the likely chance he
may not be listed in 61 and 51 as he would have been at sea I think, but
could be on 1841 as he would not be old enough to be a sea.
Charles Richards did not marry until quite late probably around 1865ish
onwards have not traced marriage as his wife was from Hampshire, I think
marriage took place Hampshire.
Could someone check for me.
Regards
Sue

Hi Sue
That was the only information given.......have you looked for him in the
GlamFHS census indexes for 1841, 51 or 1861?

Hi Pauline and list
Replied on the 17 February wasn't sure if you received iy - have
you any
more information on the Swansea St Mary entry - as the birthdate
could be
about right although I have him listed as 1836 on the Ships Register.
I
know I have seen e-mails on date of births were there may be as much
a
five
difference?
I have them in 1881 and I also have them in 1891 different address
can't
find them in 1871 which have.
38 Rodney Street, Swansea Town, Glamorgan
Charles Richards - GGGfather Head Age 47 Mariner b 1834
An Richards GGGmother Wife Age 44 b 1837
Born
in
Hampshire
Charles T Richards GGfather son Age 8 Scholar b 1873
Ellen Richards daug Age
Think they married quite late because Charles was at sea but must be
in at
least the 1841 Census before he went to sea.
Any help appreciated.
Sue
