Hi Sue
Are you asking on the fhs list too.........we are talking about Jerusalem
chapel there.....
Llanllwch is a parish of Carmarthen Town, Carmarthen was split into 3
parishes as it was so large, St Peters, St Davids and Llanllwch, so the
answer is no, its not part of Llanelli........
I looked for an Edward Jones in our 1851 census index but cannot see a
relevant one......there are a few the correct age, but not from Llanelli,
there is an Edward Jones in Llanelli workhouse, but born Kidwelly......few
others there, but not with the Llanelly connection.
Do you have a name of father for him, do you have their marriage cert or
anything.....
thanks Pauline

Hi Pauline
Thanks for the information at least have been able to get back another 10
years, I don't know what happened to the details I sent did, these
disappear
into a hole some where?
On the various Monumental Inscription
d.15/9/1903 b 1842 aged 61 at Pembrey, Jeruslem Chapel#
do you have any further information on this inscription.
Also trying to trace the birth record have found an Edward Jones born 1843
Llan-Llwch, Carmarthen is this in the Llanelly area? Not found anything on
the 1851, his father is Edward Jones and Sarah Davies these could be the
correct parents, what do you think?

Hi Sue
That messsage did not copy very well........I have them in 1871
Pembrey parish district 7 schedule 185
6 Caepencoed
Edward Jones head marr 29 engine worker born Llanelly
Mary Jones wife marr 27 born Pembrey
Ann Jones dau 3 born Pembrey
Jane Jones dau 7months born Pembrey
He is not in Pembrey in 1861.......although Pembrey parish they actually
lived in Burry Port, seems to be houses in part of Pencoed Road.....
