Hello Peter
There is no John John of the right aort of age in Amroth in the 1841
census - but this entry in Crunwear could possibly fit.
However there is no Louisa in any of the surrounding districts.
1841 Crunwear
Mountain Hall
Thomas John 35 Gardener Y
Mary " 45 Y
John " 12 Y
Esther " 8 Y
Do you know for sure that the John John you have found is the right one?
Is he the one married to a Jane from St Mary Hill?
If so then the John John above may very well match as in the 1851 census
there is a John John from Amroth lodging in Llandough and working as a
Gardener.
I beleive this is the Llandough near Cowbridge and not the one somewhat
further east.
That would put him quite close to St Mary Hill.
You really need to get the marriage certificate for John and Jane then
maybe I could help you more.
Cheers
Pat

Hi Pauline
Just Pembrokeshire please.
My interest is in John JOHN who was living in Aberdare at the time of the
1861 census and gives his birthplace as Armoth, Pembs
The IGI shows a John JOHN bpt 1 Mar 1829 at Amroth, Pembs s/o Thomas JOHN
and Mary ADAM . The parents were married 20 Oct 1827 at Amroth, Pembs.
Thomas JOHN (father) was baptised 23 May 1802 at Amroth Pembs, s/o John
THOMAS & Alice.
I'm trying to establish whether or not John JOHN had a sister Louisa Anne
Regards
Peter
