Hi Pat
My David was in London by 1841 so no good. his Father was Thomas Jones
The only relevant fact out him is that he was a Tailor. So maybe learned his
trade in a specific area.
Thanks
Eve

Subject: [Cmn-L] Re Saundersfoot
Hello Eve
Saundersfoot is defitiely in Pembrokeshire although not too far from tha
Carmarthenshire border.
There is no place in Carmarthenshire which sounds like it at all.
Having many family living on the PEWM/CMN borders I do find that the
birthplace given in the census often varies between the two.
As your David is an adult in 1841 and I can't see someone close to his
age in Saundersfoot - if you have his marriage certificate maybe you
could tell me his father's name and occupation and maybe I could find
something out for you.
His birthplace mat not be the village where he grew up as if he was the
first born he could very well have been born in the home of his mother's
family.
That is quite common.
I'll wait to hear from you.
pat
