Hi Anne
Glad you enjoyed the match at Stradey......that is what we miss most is the
rugby!!
Llangendeirne baptisms are in with the master baptisms, he has not separated
those yet......if you want earlier ones or anything else from there I have
the transcripts here....for bapts burials and marriages......so let me know
You state Capel Newydd registers, which parish?
thanks Pauline

Hello Pauline,
I've had a frustrating visit to the CRO this week. But it was balanced by
a
fantastic visit to Stradey, with the Scarlets beating Ulster in the
Heineken. We met Ieuan Evans - a huge thrill for me. What an absolute
gentleman.
Back to fam hist, I'm beginning to think they were non-con. My father was
raised as a Calvinist Methodist, so maybe this came from his paternal
side.
I checked the records of Sion and Soar chapels, but he wasn't listed. I
believe there are a couple more I could check next time I get there -
Capel
y ddol and Capel newydd.
Can I access the Llangendeirne indexes, they don't appear to be available
to
me?
Once again, any suggestions gratefully received.
Speak soon,
Anne Powell (2015).
