Hi Diana
I have the fiche for the IGI which I prefer to view as you can see exactly
what is what....when relatives gave information because they could not find
what they were looking for and knew they should be there somewhere.....also
it gives if a church or the name of the chapel....
The Margaret Williams you gave was not from Llanelly but it took place in
Newchurch.....I cannot find a relevant Margaret in Llanelly, but, perhaps
she was not baptised, not all children were baptised, or she could have been
baptised in Chapel, some were even baptised at home with no record......
I have this John William though...
1835 18th October LLanelly
John William son John William and Margaret
contact the record office to see where they lived and what John's occupation
was.......have we seen this one before? If not lets keep fingers and toes
crossed......

Subject: [Cmn-L] John Williams c 1834/Margaret Williams c 1826 parents
Hello Pauline - I am still searching the IGI. I have found a few
Margaret Williams who were born 1826 plus or minus 2 years going from the
marriage certificate to John Hopkin and the census information.
Please would you be kind enough to look up to see if there are any other
births with the following parents with also the Margaret or Margretta (as
on the 1841)
Margretta born 9/4/1826 Marros Carms with parents JW and Mary
Margaret born 22/1/1826 Llanelly with parents JW and Anne.
I have discounted all the others I found by a process of elimination with
other births on IGI. Hopefully it is one of the above two.
Thank you
Diana
