Hi Victor and Pat. Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to date a photograph
of my late Mother which was found amongst a late aunt's papers. Apparently
her father was a bit of a camera buff and took the photo(according to
another aunt who died late last year) She believed that a man also on the
photograph was in the Irish Guards, and he was Mum's penfriend. I assume it
was taken in Llanelly(where all the family lived). He was not in uniform,
so it was probably post-war, am I right in thinking that? I thought that he
may have been stationed in Llanelly, but after looking at the Irsh Guards
website, he was probably only visiting. And I thought it was quite easy to
date photgraphs!!!

mentioned.
