Eureka you are in luck; I found Llan-y-gors on an online 1891 map, it is not
far from Llangynog.
Go to
www.old-maps.co.uk search for Llangynog; there will be a choice of two
click on the Carmarthenshire one.
When at the map adjust the NSEW red arrows until you are near grid ref
238344,217484 click on the enlarge button look for Llan-y-gors; it looks
like a couple of houses off a footpath; might even be a farm.

just discovered my gggreatgrandmother was Mary(Ann)Marker believed to be
from Pembrey. She was born in 1827 roughly and married in llanelly
Breconshire in 1852. Would appreciate it if someone could find her in the
1841 and 1851 censuses along with any onther family members.
