Mal Davies: Are you related to John Davies, Stonecutter, (1797) Carmarthen, married to
Sarah Lewis Thomas 10 June 1854? Their son John Johnson Davies came to Utah, USA in the
1850's as a Mormon Pioneer.

Pauline and Diana,
I don't know if this will be of any use to you but you might find it of
interest geographically.
I live in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire which is about a mile from the village
of Bettws and about the same from the village of Pontamman.
Originally Ammanford and Pontamman were in the parish of Llandybie which is
centred in the village of Llandybie in which stands St Tybie's parish
Church, a few miles north of Ammanford. The village of Bettws was in the
parish of Bettws.
Just to confuse matters parish boundaries have changed and Ammanford town is
now in the parish of St. Michael's but Bettws village is still within the
parish of Bettws.
I hope it makes some sense to you.
Regards
Mal Davies, Carmarthenshire.
