Subject: [Cmn-L] Llanstephan Parish
I have just received a marriage certificate for William Treharne 25
& Anne
Lewis 22. Marriage in 1858 at Llanstephan.
Names of residence at time of marriage - MAESGIOQUME for him and
WAENFFORT.. . for her.
I want to trace the Lewis side of my family and have tried to find them on
the 1851 census. Think I found Anne as a servant, but no other family.
Her father was John Lewis a shoemaker.
A witness is Hannah Lewis.
Will the names of residence give a clue to finding John and perhaps her
Mother and siblings as well? There are hundreds of John Lewis on the
census!!!
Any advice is very welcome as I'm stuck!!
