Hi Margaret
Have you tried typing in Morriston, or Cwmbach......or village.......do you
know where they were on later census to locate them, otherwise its a matter
of 'plodding' through Morrison etc.......
Glad the CD arrived safely...
Let me know.....Pauline

Subject: [Cmn-L] Swansea CD received!
Hi Pauline,
received the Glam 1871 CD yesterday..thanks very much!
I've ploughed through it but no luck so far in finding my David HARRI(E)S
and his prospective wife Mary THOMAS (to be married 4 months later in
Llangyfelach parish Church).
Any hints on searching??.there is a street index, but the only possible
address I have are "Morriston" on wedding certificate (1871) for both
parties and "Cwmbath,"(1876) which is also an area as opposed to a street.
I've tried a few nearby streets from a modern map, but of course many of
those streets did not exist then! (Even the ones which I thought were very
old!)
Would it help to print that area out somehow?
Help!!
Hwyl
Margaret.
