Hello Sue
My original search for a Daniel Thomas was based on him being the father
of the John Thomas that I am now looking for, he turned out to be a red
herring. At the moment I have several Thomas possibilities that I am
pursuing (suggested to me by Diane).
Looking at your Thomas's I cannot see a connection, but I shall keep
them in mind.
My feeling is that my John Thomas ancestors will come from Swansea, (how
come he married a Carmarthen girl ?)
Thanks for your interest.

Hi Ken
I saw your e-mail thought I would drop you a line, I also have
Thomas's in
the family most of them from Pembrey There is a Daniel Thomas b
1871 - and
was living away in 1881
In 1895 Witness to Richard Thomas and Mary Jones Marriage in Llanelly
my
Great Grandparents.
Daniel also has a brother John Thomas b 1866 and at the age of 15 was
listed
as a coal caster in 1881 Census also a sister Catherine Thomas b.1881.
Have not yet been able trace marriages for them as it appears after
1881 I
have lost track of them.
I am not sure if there is a connection, I am also looking for a John
Thomas
which is my GGGrandfathers father Evan Thomas b. 1810 onwards.
Regards
Sue
