Hi Liz
As stated we only covered the old section........it is the burial ground for
the whole of Llanelli, so you can imagine how large it is now........
Let us know how you get on with the burial records from the office there for
others to know how to locate the information.

Thanks Pauline - I'll do that.
I had no idea there were so many graves there.
Regards
Liz

Hi Liz
CFHS have compiled a CD with photographs of headstones which are in 6
sections. We only compiled the old section of the cemetary which amounted
to about 5 thousand graves - we did not go into the newer part of the
cemetary, this was a very large task to complete...
You could telephone Box cemetary and ask them for the information as they
have an index there for those times. Unsure if they charge for
information,
but I was charged £5 when I went personally to find my grave......
let us know how you get on....telephone number is
01554 773710
or the address is
Box Cemetary
Swansea Road
Llanelli
Carms
Wales
sorry I do not know the postcode but the letter should get there without
it......
