Subject: {not a subscriber} HOWELL in 1841
I am new to the Carmarthen list, having been "at
home" in
Pembroke. I would like to find out if there is an index for the 1841
census. If there is, would someone with access to it please look for
Francis Howell, about age 10. He is not at home in Llawhaden, Pembroke
with his parents Richard HOWELL and Elizabeth, nee MORGAN. In fact, he
does not appear to be anywhere in Pembroke. I thought perhaps he might be
with relatives in Carmarthen as that is where his mother was from. He
died and was buried in the Rhydwilym Baptist Cemetery, Landisillio in
January of 1842.
Thanks for taking the time.
