Glad to be of help.
Must admit I get more out of the peripheral learning than I do from the
ancestral search.
Has increased my knowledge of Welsh, British and European history;
geography, Welsh language and etymology of place names. Haven't gone down
the palaeography route yet, but there are a lot of people interested in it.

Thank you, Rhodri, for the URL to the National Archives section on
paleography. I have started the interactive tutorial and believe it
will be a big help in transcribing the will. I have also purchased a
book the National Archives recommends, " Wills and Other Probate
Records: A practical guide to researching your ancestors' last
documents" by Nigel Taylor and Karen Grannum. The book provides
explanations of legal terminology and gives examples of wills.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
