The OS sell very detail maps like 25 inches to the mile for any period which
they have them.
The downside is that they cost quite a bit and don't cover very much of an
area; you have to spell out what you want and they will contact you and tell
you what they have.
I have bought one for a cousin who wanted a street map of Mountain Ash pre
1870 and I got one but it cost delivered GBP 30, that's about USD 60 and the
shipping cost would be greater to the US. Oddly enough I also got one on
eBay for the same area dated 1913 it was fabric backed. Thus the three areas
you are interested in would probably cost you about USD 200.
You'll have to ask yourself if the super detailed maps are worth it: for all
I know you might be a multi-millionaire and cost is of little consequence.

Subject: [CMN-L] Looking for more detailed OS maps
Hello,
I received a nice OS map of Swansea and Llanelli from Godfrey the other
day, but am looking for something more detailed. Godfrey says they don't
have anything else.
Does anyone know where they have maps that show even more detail (very
large scale) of the White Rock Works area/Cnap Coch (in Swansea), and
Llanelli, and Pontarddulais?
Someone sent me a xerox of a part of one that showed farms and buildings
in Pontarddulais, but I have no idea what map it was from or where I can
find maps with that much detail.
Older maps would be nice, but I'd even take modern ones with more detail.
Thank you.
