HI Debbie
Did they look for any siblings for you? Wonder why there was no abode
listed as it was after 1813.......Was he a clark or a clerk which is
normally a clergyman. Be worth finding out.....
I have looked at 1841 for a John Thomas cl but only one in Llanstephan, but
he is unmarried in 1851........
Where is Lydia in 1841 and 1851.....may hold some clues
Pauline

Hi Pauline,
I have been in contact with the Carmarthen record office and they have
informed me that
"The father of the Lydia Thomas baptised on 19 July 1816, is described as
a
"clark", unfortunately no address is given for John and Elizabeth Thomas"
Is it possible to get any more information from this detail only?
Debbie
