just type in the name you're
looking for in the "Word or phrase" box and BT
372 in the "Department or series code" box. You can just type in the surname
but if it's a common one you'll get a lot. Best to follow Bryan's advice and
type in form <surname first initial second initial>. If in doubt just put in
the first initial. The numbers given are the discharge numbers not the
identity numbers.

I found a Search command to click on near the top right hand corner.

Hallo
I thought I would try to find my father's details on
this site, using Bryan Richards's instructions.
Finding BT372 is no problem but where does one put the
name of the person one is trying to find? All I get is
a list of different archives; if I try putting the
name in either of the boxes, it just tells me there is
nothing.
