I found that a good story why a person left Wales for Salt Lake City,
is
the one of James Crane.....years ago when I used to do research for Salt
Lake I was commissioned to find out more information about this
man.......it makes fascinating reading. His whole life story is on the
internet, just type in James Crane for his life history. He was not from
Carmarthen but from Tenby in Pembrokeshire...
It also gives a wonderful insight of life from 1830
onwards.......especially for the less fortunate in life.
I do not know much of the Mormons in Carmarthen as not much seems to have
been written about it, so if anyone can help here it would be
wonderful....
