Nice to have you back.......you state that Thomas Harris born Llanstephan
married Elizabeth.....but...you asked for a look up for a John Harris/ies in
1841 or 1851, do you mean Thomas, as I can see from your email that John was
not born until 1856....is it a little typo.
I had a quick look in 1841 which has been indexed by CFHS there is a 5 year
old and 9 year old there.....do you know name of father from the marriage
certificate?
the one aged 9 in 1841 is with a John Roberts aged 55 farmer and Mary
Roberts aged 55 .......he is Thomas Harris aged 9..
Any ideas?

I have a Thomas HARRIS born in Llanstephan in 1833. He married Elizabeth,
born in 1837 or 1839 in Merthyr Tydfil and they had :
1.John Harris b.1856
2. Margaret Harris b.1858
3. Mary Harris b.1860
4. Vaughan Harris b.1862 d. 1st March 1921
5. William Harris b.1863 buried 2nd November 1877
6. Sarah Harris b.1867
7. Jane Harris b.1869
8. Elizabeth Harris b.1871
9. Ellen Harris b1874
10 Moriah Harris b.1877
11.William Harris b.1879
12.Thomas Harris b.1881 buried 29th November 1886
13.Gwen Harris b.1883 buried.4th January 1887
I would like to know what family John Harris had in Llanstephan and if he
can be found on the 1841 or 1851 census in Carmarthen.
