Hello Elizabeth
I have been collecting Scourfield information for some time.
I can see John and Ann Scourfield in Waunwen in the 1901 census with
three children already.
Was their marriage the one shown on FreeBMD in Dec qtr 1894 Carmarthen
11a/1707?
Do you have the marriage certificate already?
What are the differences that you mentioned between Ancestry information
and what you already know?
I'll have a look in my Scpourfield files and see if I have anything
useful.
Cheers
Pat

Hallo
I'm researching my the life of my great-aunt (by
marriage), Blodwen Scourfield. I have her birth
certificate; she was born in June 1902 at Waunwen,
Llannon to John Scourfield and Ann (nee Evans) and I
think Waunwen was Ann's parents' home (her father
possibly being John Evans). I would like to know more
about John Scourfield and his wife but the information
I've found on Ancestry does not necessarily seem to
tie in with what I already know. Blodwen went on to
marry my maternal grandmother's brother and emigrated
to America (I know that part of the story).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and Blwyddyn Newydd Dda,
Elizabeth
