Hi Denise
With reference to this e-mail, Titus Howell and Henry Jenkins were witnesses
at my 3rd Great Grandfathers marriage between John Howell & Rachel Evan but
notice your Titus is too young, my Titus was born c1810 Llanboidy. Henry
Jenkins must have been used in the Parish to register births/deaths and
marriages because his name seems to appear often.
Have you made any more connections as yet? I am not sure if Titus is a
brother to John listed above. I think John had another brother called
Richard, I know from marriage records that both John & Richard had a father
named David who was a Tailor. Unfortunately Titus married 1832 (pre 1837) to
Elizabeth Griffiths so I do not know who his father was.
The John Howells you mention below is different to mine above though both
born same year, my John died 1865 In Llanddowror.
