Subject: [CMN-L] "Waunforte" Llanstephan.1861.
Hi List,
Been away from the list for sometime now, tracing ancestors all over, but
recently came across a connection to my lot on the 1861.
John LEWIS head 52? farmer,
Hannah wife 36.
Amy daughter 20
William son.
David Lewis servant,
All living at "Waunforte",[ many different spellings on this name,]
Llanstephan.
This house is just around the corner from a woollen factory "Dyffryn
Tawel"
Would anyone have access to 1841/1851 to find this family again please?
My G.G Grandma Amy Lewis nee Evans lived in this house with her brother
John.
I am trying to find out if the connection with the John Lewis who lived
there in 1861 was a brother to Amy's husband Thomas Lewis.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Cheers Jackie from East Sussex.
