Subject: [CMN-L] John Edwards, Llangathen
Hi
I hope someone can help with this as none of my other queries has thrown
up anything!
John Edwards, my great great grandfather, was born in about 1813 in
Llangathen (or that area) and research into his children and wife has
revealed that he must have died at a young age as his children were, in
the 1841 census, scattered and living with relatives. We know he was alive
at the end of June 1838 as he registered his youngest son, Thomas, who was
born that year. They were living at Dryslwyn Isaf, Llangathen.
Any number of men called John Edwards died in the period from June 1838 up
to the 1841 census period so it's impossible to know which one he was.
His wife, Esther, married again but not until a lot later.
I hope someone can help.
Best wishes
