Hi Roy
I found William Rees in 1841, as the place is mentioned in one of the
baptisms......if this is your William Rees
1841 census Llanelly Glyn hamlet
Carnwallon Farm
William Rees 72 farmer born in county yes.
Rachel Williams 19 servant yes....
looks as if he is a widower.....I'll have a look in 1851 to see who is
living there then....

Subject: [CMN-L] Brothers/Sister of Walter Rees 1807
Hello (Pauline)
A little while back you were kindly able to find a good poosibe match for
the Baptism of my gt-gt-gt frandfather Walter Rees:
Lllanelly, 28th April 1807, Watler son of William and Anne Glyn Hamlet
I don't know how easy/difficult it would be but would it be possible for
you to search for the Baptism of any other children to William and Anne in
the Glyn Hamlet/Llanelly.
I can't find any obvious match for William and Anne in the 1841/1851
census and they well be dead by then, but any knowledge of brothers or
sisters could give me additional leads.
I have found a marriage of William Rees and Anne Pugh in Llanedi in 1789
whic seems just a bit too late for Walter being born/baptised in 1807. The
next match is William Rees and Anne Jones in St Peters in 1778. Which
seems possibly too early and the wrong area.
Knowledge of other children would possibly help me trace the marriage,
plus may help me identify William and Anne together in the census or
possibly living individually with other brothers and sisters (they are not
with Walter).
Thank you
Roy
