Hi Ken
me again.......turkey cooked!!
I can see Thomas and Sarah in 1851 census if this is them?
1851 Llandeilo fawr sch 5 page 2 dist 1c
Nant Coch
Thomas Morgan hd marr 34 ag lab born Llandilo fawr
Sarah Morgan wife 24 born Llandilo fawr
Elizabeth Morgan dau 6mth born Llandilo fawr
I know that the births are indexed in the registry office under mothers
name, but you could ask them if they could find Elizabeth Morgan or Morgans
born Oct or Nov 1850 or thereabouts.........you know the address as Nant
Coch Llandilo fawr......worth a try, this in turn would give you the mothers
maiden name.......
let me know if you have tried that avenue......they did not baptise
Elizabeth in Llandilo fawr parish church,........
regards Pauline

Hi Ken
Welcome to the list.......
I do not have his marriage, but could this be his baptism......there is
mention of a David and Jane also in Llandeilo fawr a farmer, so do you
think
he became a farmer after this event?
1816 19th May Llandilo fawr baptism register
Thomas Morgan son David and Jane, Danyrallt Trecastle hamlet, Quarryman
I have this marriage
1813 22 April Llandeilo fawr parish church
David Morgan and Jane Davies
Give me the info you have and I will see what I can find.....
You say you have contacted Carmarthen registry office (not record office)
to
locate a marriage, do you know the names of their children to perhaps find
a
birth for one of them?
Merry Christmas
Pauline
