Hi Angharad
send an email to Carmarthen record office to see if they have a list of
Vicars etc.....I am sure that they may have something there.....
All of Carmarthenshire registry records are now only in two registration
districts...Carmarthen and Llanelly, Llanelly only covering a small
area.....
archives(a)carmarthenshire.gov.uk
let me know if they reply to you and what is the answer

Hi Anne & Pauline
Thank you both. I will have a look at the Caernarfon parish register this
week if I can - I yesterday found the baptism of son Aaron on the IGI
family
search in Oct 1857 at Caernarfon - Llanbeblig and I am interested to see
the
original record. I should have thought of that before now! But it seems
far
to take them back for burial during that period.I wonder do you know
whether
his death would have been registered at Llanymddyfri/LLandovery if he was
residing at Llangadog? I had always taken that for granted until now.
Would
there be a list of curates/vicars in the diocese [St David's] to be had
for
that period do you know?
Regards
Angharad
