Hello Viv
as there are so many Jones families in that area - and there is no White
Thorn shown in the 1891 census it would have been better if you had
given us the names of the Jones family you were following - or even
which census you found White thorn in.
Anyway - I found White Thorn cottage in the 1901 census with Edwin Jones
aged 80 and his wife Mary aged 76 in the 1901 census so I am guessing
this is the family you want????
In 1891 he is in somewhere just shown as "the Cottage" and he has a wife
called Elizabeth.
Edwin Jones H M 68 Fisherman St Ishmael
Elizabeth " wife M 72 Kidwelly
Edwin " son U 28 Fisherman St Ishmael
There are sevearl possible deaths for an Elizabeth Jones of the right
sort of age in the index
and this possible marriage
Marriages Dec 1894
Gravell Mary Carmarthen 11a 1703
Howells Hannah Carmarthen 11a 1703
Jones Edwin Carmarthen 11a 1703
Jones Howell Carmarthen 11a 1703
Does this fit with what you are looking for?
Cheers
Pat
