Thank you again Pauline this really helps me narrow down the search.
Morgan Vaughan was actually born in Llandefaelog. He was chris: 16 Aug 1765. The family
moved to Llangendeirne after 1772 and before 1774.
As there were no Morgan Vaughans born in Llangendeirne after 1765, as per your lookup,
then this really makes him a good prospect for the Morgan Vaughan that marries Mary Hopkin
in Neath in 1802.
The oldest child of this couple was baptised in Cadoxton-Neath 11 May 1803, Charlotte
Vaughan.
The other five children of ths couple do not show up anywhere as being baptised. The
church records that were supplied by one of these sons says the children were all born in
Neath Abbey.
There was a Chapel at Neath Abbey. Would it be possible that these children were baptised
there? I find nothing about any records from there.
Thank you for taking the time to help me.
