Hi Alistair
glad I am able to help you.....
I could not find Richard LLoyd in 1851 until I used this spelling which
was
Loyd....
Looks like the enumerator spelt all Lloyd's with the one 'L'
I firstly found the marriage of Richard Lloyd to Jane
Pembrey parish church 22nd October 1847
Richard Lloyd, collier, Lletyrdryw father Charles Lloyd
Jane Thomas, of Tyllwyd, father William Thomas
I then went on to find Charles Lloyd.....
1841 census Pembrey district 6
Lletyrdrew Ucha
Charles Lloyd 60 blacksmith born in county yes
Esther Lloyd 60
Charles Lloyd 20 collier
William Lloyd 15 collier
all born in county......
I then located their marriage
Pembrey parish church
1804 22nd May
Charles Lloyd and Esther David
Here are the 1851 census returns
these are all living next door to one another....
District 1f Schedule 67 page 17
Tynewydd No 1
William Loyd head marr 38 collier born Pembrey
Mary Loyd wife 38 born Kidwelly
Thomas son 18 born Pembrey
Schedule 68 page 17
Tynewydd No 2
Richard Loyd head marr 30 collier born Pembrey
Jane Loyd wife marr 31 born Pembrey
Margaret Loyd dau 1 born Pembrey
Schedule 69 page 17
Tynewydd No 3
Charles Loyd head marr 73 pauper blacksmith born Pembrey
Esther Loyd wife marr 72 born Llanfihangelyeroth (Llanfihangel ar arth)
then is schedule 45 page 12
Pantylletrew No 8
Charles Loyd head marr 32 collier born Pembrey
Hannah Loyd wife 28 born Pembrey
John son 6
Anne dau 4
Joseph son 1
also next door in Pantylletrew is a Dvid Loyd aged 45
Cannot see burials in the parish church will see if I can find them
elsewhere in the Trimsaron chapels......
If you wanted you can purchase the actual parish register marriages which
would give you the full information from Carmarthen archives, at a
fraction
of the cost which the registry office charges.......if you want their
email
address let me know......
hope this helps.....do you want me to look elsewhere....
regards
Pauline
