Hi Elwyn
I was a bit confused by your posting (below) until I remembered that pwll
is Welsh for chapel. It is also a village on the outskirts of Llanelli
when spelt with a capital P and in that guise is the place my grandparents
lived for many years. They attended Belthlehem Chapel in Pwll regularly.
It seems likely that this is the same chapel as your Evanses.
I don't know if there is a Bethlehem chapel in Llanelli itself, but it
seems at least possible that the Evanses lived in Pwll, rather than the
town.
I make this comment not to be pedantic, but in case you were unaware of
the geography of the area.
Best wishes

Hello list,
Found out that Mary Evans, third wife of my Timothy Evans, was buried at
Bethlehem Pwll,Llanelli in 1910. Age 80.
Wonder if somebody near is able to trace the grave for me.
Mary Evans was a member of Pwll for nearly sixty years.
