HI Ann
Will keep on looking to see if I can find more.....yes, I too noticed when
indexing parish registers that the couple are intent on giving one child a
certain name, and they keep on burying them......and then renaming
them......

Subject: Re: [CMN-L] Fw: St Clears parish church
Strange coincidence, Chris Francis who is researching his Francis line in
Llanstephan thought there was some connection between our families and I
believe he had a John born in Llanstephan so that could be a clue. I will
try to get back to him. So that would make William snr born around the
1760's and we can deduce by the time my Francis Francis was born, they
must have already moved to St Clears?
William does not seem to be a very lucky name. William's son William died,
Francis' son William died and my grandfather's son William died in
infancy.
If you find any more children for William and Mary that would be great
but you have given me something to work on. In the interim, I'll try to
get in touch with Chris.
Thks for all your help, you are a miracle worker!!!
Ann
