Can anyone help with suggestions for a Carmarthenshire place name in 1851 census? (ref :
HO107 Piece 2458 Folio 380 P.49).
Ann THORNTON (nee Jones) is living with her husband, James, in Merthyr Tydfil and gives
her place of birth as what looks like 'LLANDEBIEY'. Originally I thought it may
be Llanboidy but have searched the parish registers and not found any JONES's living
there. On closer inspection of the census am wondering if it could be Llandybie? Is
there another place anyone could suggest?
