Hi Peggie
sorry for the delay, I am just getting back into the swing of things as been
away due to a family bereavement........
The only way to go back further that 1800 really are the baptism records
etc.....it is difficult especially with a common name. I have Davies from
Conwil Elved who were non-conformists and cannot go back further than his
birth c1806 but have not found his parents........I also have lost him after
1851 census.......
Who are you looking for and from which parish....
thanks Pauline

Subject: [CMN-L] Research tips
Dear Pauline
Have been away but the nights are drawing in fast, so time to get into
family history again.
I was wondering if anyone has time to give tips on how to research further
back in time. Most of my lines get stuck around 1800 or so, and I don't
really know how to get further back.
Thanks.
Peggie
