Hi Pat
Thanks for the information - I always thought that you could only obtain
1891 on microfiche - the rest had to be on film - thanks for that
information much appreciated.
speak soon
Pauline

Subject: re fiche - and my earlier query
Hello Pauline
First - regarding ordering fiche, in case you don't know, you send an e-
mail to
repro-ordering(a)pro.gov.uk
with a list of what you require and they then reply with the price for
you to confirm your order or not.
Second - A copy of my query follows:-
Hello Pauline and Richard
Welcome back. Hope your trip was enjoyable enough to make up for our
saturday's disappointment.
I have a little query (having given up for the moment on my Pembrey John
family)
Lots of my family seem to be hovering on the borders of pembrokeshire
and carmarthenshire. e.g Llandissilio , Egremont, baptisms in henllan
Amgoed but living in llandewi Velfey .
The thing is:- Llandissilio and Egremont occur in the 1851 census index
that I have with sometimes PEM and sometimes CMN as the county.
Also there are entries in the Pembrokeshire Marriage index.
What I don't know is
Would there be more entries in an 1851 carmarthenshire census and
Carmarthenshire marriage index or would the same entries just be
repeated?
Also in Bert Rawlins book of churches and chapels he shows llandissilio
West in Cararthenshire and Llandissilio East in Pembrokeshire.
That sounds the wrong way round to me.
......HELP!!!!!
Any bit of info to clarify matters would be welcome. I want to make sure
I am looking at all possible sources of information.
Thanks very much
Bye for now
Pat

Hello Pauline
I think your charge of £3.75 must have been from "Download". If you go
direct to the PRO they charge £2.60 per fiche.
They quoted 4 weeks delivery and it arrived to the day - Pretty good eh?
I bought Haverfordwest RG12/4536 and 4537 if you ever need a look-up.
By the way did you have any thoughts on my llandissilio question some
time ago?
Bye for now
Pat
