Does anyone on the list know of a site where I can get a letter translated.
It appears to have been written in Celt or Gaelic or Welsh. I know nothing
about these languages. It was written in the 1880's and is in some old
papers of my great grandmothers. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Sue
There are no ATTEWELL in Carmarthenshire which i know of and none
available
in our indexes of Carmarthenshire, infact there are very few
'ATT??????'
surnames at all.
There are none on the IGI for Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire,
Cardiganshire,
Breconshire,
There are 2 on the Glamorgan IGI, and quite a few in the Monmouthshire IGI.

Richard James
