Hello Denise
Jerusalem and Hermon are Chapels, both have their own graveyards.
Jerusalem Independent Chapel is situated on Achddu - a road which leads from
Llanelly through Burry Port onto Pembrey. It was built in 1812. Hermon
Chapel (once known as Ebenezer) built c1833 again has its own burial ground -
this is situated in Pembrey Parish itself just. (A large housing site has
just been built around this Chapel).
There are quite a few other Chapels in Pembrey parish, but at yet we have not
finished collecting the monumental inscriptions. Namely Bethlehem,
Tabernacle, Bethel, Carmel (this broke away from Jerusalem in c1826). These
all have their own burial grounds.
Onto your question, I did not find any Hancocks in Jerusalem or Hermon -
sorry. Did you find any in Pembrey parish church?
If I can help just let me know, glad to assist.
Regards
Pauline
