Hello Pauline
I will order the 1841 through the LDS.
Morgan's first child was Rachel, so working on the premise that he named
her after his mother, the 1822 one may be the one. But to cover all bases
I'd be grateful for details of both.
Thank you for your help.

I looked through the marriages pre 1837 of Llandybie - and there are
8
marriages of a John Walter/s between 1820-1830 - only 2 in Llandybie -
find below:
1822 John Walter widower married a Rachel Peirce Llandybie
1825 John Walters married an Anne Hay Llandebie
If you want the dates to these let me know
speak soon

Subject: WALTERS - Llandybie
Looking for any birth details of my 2xggf Morgan WALTERS b.1830. I have
found someone who may be his brother, in the 1881 census: Thomas WALTERS
b.1826 Llandybie. (Morgan's daughter was living with Thomas). There is
also another possible brother John b.1834.
Also any information on the above from the 1841 census, Llandybie.
All three men are living in Aberdare GLA in the 1851 census. John and
Thomas living together and Morgan as a lodger in another house. Although
I haven't tracked John through the censuses, Morgan and Thomas married and
raised families in Aberdare and were still living there in 1891 and I have
them in all censuses 1851-1891.
>From his marriage cert John WALTERS, Labourer was Morgan's father.
Morgan's youngest son Gwilym became a Baptist minister at Glanaman GLA.
Hope this gives you enough information to help me in my search.
Regards,
Pam
