Hi Pauline
Thanks for helping me with this, I now have a clearer picture of their
local area and the Llangadock
marriage seems to be a very good match.
This is the list I have of Benjamin Davies (bailiff) and Anne's
children (Thanks to some help from Keith)
Llandilofawr Church Baptism's
1 - Lewis Davies bap 1823; father Benjamin Davies, labourer.
2 - Margaret born 1830 - no baptism found
3 - Benjamin bap 1831; his son David Price Davies was my G/father,
who died about 30 years before my birth.
4 - Henry bap 1834;
5 - Lewis born 1837 no baptism found.
6- William bap 1840;
7 - Harriet bap 1843
I believe there may have been a 'Mary Davies' an early baptism also to
Benjamin & Anne Davies which now
with an earlier marriage date would now put her in the frame
Thanks again
Desmond

Hi Desmond
Llangynog is west of Carmarthen Town......how about this marriage, more in
the vicinity of your Bernjamin and Anne
1821 26th January Llangadog/ock parish church
Benjamin Davies and Anne Thomas of Llandeilo fawr
did you see this one? Llangadock and Llandilo fawr are bordering parishes
have been indexed by CFHS, have I looked in Llangadock for you? At the time
of the marriage Llangadock is the parish that Benjamin was living, does not
mean that they were born there......
Llangeler is next to Llanfihangel ar arth north of Carmarthenshire
Do you know of any children, if so I will see if I can find them in the
baptisms of those two parishes
Pauline
