Dear Pauline
Have viewed everything that is on the CFHS site and also on ancestry for
Bethlehem Pwlltrap and the earliest is 1805 (perhaps he was baptised late)
and Trinity St. Clears which doesn't start until 1813 also the Bethlehem
baptisms. Jonah Jones was buried in Carmarthen and I have the free bmd
number of that so perhaps I will order his death certificate and that may
give me some more information.
Just out of interest does anyone know of Polack House in Carmarthen - he
moved here with his daughter on his retirement?
thanks
Diana

Hi Elizabeth and Diana
Just going through what I have, and yes, I do have the early St Clears
parish registers from 1681.......I did start indexing them, but they are
difficult to do as some are hard to read.......so far they are indexed
from
1681-1716......then from 1813 onwards......
Will have to see what can be done....the early ones are the baps burials
and
marriages from 1681.......
With the online indexes the Monumentals for Bethlehem Pwlltrap and Trinity
St Clears are available to view....also the Bethlehem baptisms....have you
viewed those Diana?
regards Pauline
