Subject: Re: [CMN-L] Isaac
Hi Pauline
The riddle has now been solved. There were three Rees Isaac's, one could not
account for three in the family unless two died.
However it never dawned on earlier researchers that their mother was from a
Non-Conformist family. Their mother's
father had died in 1788, and she was determined to name a son after him.
Her father was Rees William Evan, a mason of Cwm Felin Llangan who is also
buried in Henllan Amgoed, most likely
Lettuce use her father;'s grave for her deceased baby sons.
Rees Isaac 10th October 1789, Son of William Isaac and Lettice (Llangan
Parish Baptism Register)
Rees Isaac 12th October 1789 of Forgeland in Langan (Burial of the Chapel
Register for Henllan Amgoed, RG4 3771 )
Rees Isaac 21st April 1793 Son of William Isaac and Lettice(Llangan Parish
Baptism Register)
Rhees Isaac 27th April 1793 of Langan (Burial of the Chapel Register for
Henllan Amgoed, RG4 3771 )
Rees Isaac 27th May 1796 (Baptism register for Llangan 1795 to 1813 missing.
Most likely provided by him when was baptised into the LDS church in the
1800's)
We now have a line back to William Isaac and Evan Lettice married 1779.
Now to find which William Isaac of Meidrim b. 1750 it was.
Thanks for your help
Regards
Bryan
