Hello Monte
Thanks for your e-mail - glad you are keeping in touch even if travelling
the road....
I looked in my marriage index 1810-1824 for William Jenkin/s to a Mary -
there were 14 entries, but only one taking place in Llangendeirne - but this
parish is surrounded by quite a few others it could have taken place over
the border.
there was one in 1824 of a William Jenkin to a Mary Jones in Llangendeirne -
do you want the actual date of this marriage.
To locate any burials you will have to look in the parish register if they
were of the church - if they were not, St Catherine's House indexes will
have to be searched - or the Chapel burial grounds.
If you wish to contact the Vicar/Minister of any church chapel, enquire
first if they charge, because some do charge for this service, know of one
that charged £25 just for one look up in their chapel grounds.
hope this helps Pauline
