Hi Cathy
Looked back at your previous e-mails to find some more information.
I presume we are talking about James and Jusatina Davies??
If so this entry from Laugharne looks promising - what do you think?

I have today received a letter from a newly found distant relative who tells
me that my GGGgrandfather James Davies ( James Picton Davies ) may have
moved the family from Carmarthen to Laugharne during the late 1830's /
1840's to escape the cholera epidemics. Was this usual?
Is there a Census for Laugharne 1841 with an index?
Secondly my new friend tells me that James, a Carmarthen legal writer or
Solicitor died in 1850 returning from a Hunt Ball. He apparently fell from
his horse!
I haven't looked for a death in 1850 because his youngest son James John was
born in Feb 1851. This means his father was dead prior to his birth. So I
will have to do a GRO check.
My question is are there newspaper records for this time? Is there a
Carmarthen paper? Are there Coroners reports?
Sorry to ask so many questions.
Hope things don't stay quiet for long! Its raining in Devon too and the
Environment Agency have just put our coast on flood alert!!
Best wishes
Cathy
